Planet Zoo 2 Field Guide is an independent fan resource about Frontier Developments’ game. It is not an official support site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Frontier.

How the guides are made

We research official store information, developer announcements, support guidance and specific community discussions. Each research-based guide links numbered notes to its own source list, so you can inspect the evidence behind the answer.

Official rules, player suggestions and confirmed player outcomes are not interchangeable. We name reported successes and failures, keep version limits visible, and do not describe source research as our own gameplay testing. Editorial decision diagrams are labelled as such.

Scope and updates

The first guides focus on Accreditation, water-temperature controls, missing shelters, PC startup problems and Franchise connection issues. A check date records when the evidence was reviewed; it does not mean a live server monitor or a guarantee that a workaround still applies after every update.

Corrections

If a menu, patch or source changes, send the page URL, the relevant passage and a source or screenshot that shows the issue. Use the contact page. We do not promise a response time.
